GEODESIC DOME HOME
When one of America’s most-watched home and garden networks created a series about discovering and transforming the country’s most unsightly homes into the most beautiful, they approached Metroflor Corporation to provide the flooring for what they deemed to be the ugliest: a 70s-era geodesic dome house located outside Las Vegas, untouched since those disco days.

The Life Church
In 2019, when The Life Church in Danville, IL, decided to make a major flooring change, they looked to Metroflor’s best-selling Déjà New San Marcos Oak for a fresh new approach to their flooring needs by replacing the carpeting occupying the sanctuary, coffee shop, and lounge area. We revisit the church in 2022 to see how their flooring has withstood the test of time.

The Way Station
Located at the corner of 3rd Avenue and 7th Street North, the Way Station is designed to meet the very unique needs of young people ages 18 to 24 experiencing or at risk for homelessness. In order to best serve this vulnerable population, the Way Station offers an emergency, overnight crisis stabilization shelter, and a transitional housing program. Also available are supportive services such as trauma-informed care; education; life, job, and housing skills; financial empowerment classes; vocation/career training; and more as they navigate their way to successful adulthood.

Charleston Pediatric Dentistry
When the Charleston Pediatric Dentistry purchased a building in anticipation of a gut renovation, the flooring was an important consideration. They required a budget- friendly alternative to the existing, soiled and worn carpet, a flooring that would provide similar acoustic properties while being able to withstand heavy foot traffic. Green Curve Studio, a dental and medical office design firm which already had full confidence in Metroflor, and their line of LVT products, turned to them again for the solution: Genesis 2000.

Dobbins Middle School
Located in Powder Springs, GA, Dobbins Middle School was built on land previously owned by Mr. J.A. Dobbins, a bus driver for 38 years who owned his own bus and was a postal employee. The doors of J.A. Dobbins Middle School opened in March of 1997 to a grateful group of students, who previously had to be schooled at the more distant East Paulding Middle and South Paulding Middle Schools until the building was complete.

Owned and operated by Mike Curb, Curb Records (Curb|Word Entertainment) is one of the most successful independently owned Record labels in the world. Situated in the heart of historic “Music Row” in downtown Nashville, this unique building was commissioned by Capitol Records in the late 90’s during a period that saw record-setting profits for music labels. Known as “The House That Garth Built”, the studio has also been home to a Who’s Who of Country, Christian, and Pop artists .
